Death Valley - April 2023
Artist Drive

After leaving Golden Canyon we drove to then along Artist Drive. Artist Drive is a scenic loop drive through multi-hued hills. We enjoyed the scenery from the car and made 2 stops to get out and see more than what we could from the car. At the first stop we could overlook the salt flats, which to us resembled waves breaking on a beach. There was a rock formation that Dale thinks resembles an alligator, after seeing a picture of it Ernie can see why she thinks so. The second stop was at the Artist Palette where we got up closer to the colorful rocks.
